Recording from Spotify (or any other streaming rental service) is against their terms and conditions. The music is not yours to record.

Strictly speaking, even if you buy music, recording is not permitted. Music Copyright Terms & Conditions have stated the same thing for many decades.

In most cases it reads similar to “Unauthorized copying, public performance and broadcasting is prohibited”.
