Spotify track wont play with ddj SZ connected

Hello,I have a problem with my ddj-sz playing spotify with windows. I’ve downloaded the trial version of the DJ Pro and also have my Spotify premium acct and everything works fine at first but after i loaded a track into channel 2 it would would load up and i can hit cue or play but the audio won’t play through. I tried to load it on channel 3 and 4 but nothing. I’ve checked and double checked to make sure i don’t have anything accidentally switched to make the audio not come through and yes i did have the channel volume all the way up but at this point i’m lost and curious if anyone has any suggestions.

Are you using your controller in External Mixer mode?

Hey K. Huff,

after some testing I am sorry to tell you but, it appears there are some audio interfaces which are not yet supported by the wasapi audio driver. We are in contact with Pioneer and hope to be able to provide a solution quickly.

I am sorry that the controller is not working in external mixer mode with djay Pro for Windows at the moment.

I am using it in external mixer mode. I just uploaded the updated version of the demo but it’s still the same problem. To be clear in the audio device of the software i have Exclusive mode unchecked cause that gave me feedback in the speakers but found that having it unchecked makes the sound come out clearer. under the mixer mode i have external selected and not internal.

Just curious and i won’t continue to do this but on this issue we have would you know how long this could take to correct it? Sorry i know it’s probably an answer you can’t give at this moment but just wanted to follow up as I can’t wait to play this with the ddj-SZ.

i guess at this point i should just give up huh? Almost wanted to buy an apple laptop just so i can run my dj controller through spotify but i’m still an android man and will probably stick with it.

I too am having this issue with my SZ with playing tracks from my hard drive. Hopefully a fix is made soon as I’m waiting to complete testing of the demo with my SZ before purchasing from the app store.

Thanks for the Windows version though, have been waiting for it!

I have the same thoughts the last few days .But i think we should actually boycott a company that shortchange there costumes like that and not buy there products again.
