“The certificare is not yet valid”

I’m an old Win user, that swithed to iPad.
But years ago the spotify support dropped I had problems. I hade to use apple music.

But now, finnally, Spotify could be used. But not with iPad. It’s a pitty.

So I switched back to my PC/Win. When starting Djay, it said free upgrade to v5.0. But I got this error: “SSL Handshake…”

I installed 5.0 anyway, but then trying to connect to spotify I get this SSL handshake error again…’

What to do?

Hi @ThomasLydhig, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. SSL Handshake / Certifical Not Yet Valid errors typically mean you PC’s date and time are incorrect. Please try the following:

  1. Set Date & Time to Auto
  2. Press Windows + I to open Settings
  3. Go to: Time & Language → Date & Time
  4. Toggle ON:
    a. Set time automatically
    b. Set time zone automatically
  5. Click Sync now (under “Additional settings” if visible)
  6. Reboot your PC and launch djay
