When I am playing on MacOS and clicks on Play Stop, it does not stop immediately, it slouches in a lazy, drooping way until stop. When I start the replay, the same happens until it starts.
I know there is a setting to stop that, but I cannot find it. Please help.

Hi @Kwasi_Glover, please navigate to the djay Settings>General and set the Start Time and Stop Time to 0 seconds.

I never got a message that you responded until I am having an issue with notification of djay Pro not showing. I thought Djay used to show notifications on the mac indication the next music going to be or being played.
- If I am right, even though my notifications are on, no notifications come up.
- My second issue is that, in fact as most people, I use djay on mac to listen to music whilst working. Sometimes I just want to forward/rewind/repeat a song and don’t want to go through the whole process, so I thought a right click on the icon in the dock could reveal: play, forward/rewind, repeat etc. Is that already included? If yes, mine is not working, any help?

- It sounds like you need to enable notifications via the Discourse User Settings.
- I assume you are using Automix in djay. If so, yes you can transition (skip) to the next song, pause, and rewind to the beginning of the current song using the dock controls.
I can’t thank you enough. Yes, I’ve activated the notifications for the topic updates.
The other notification I meant is actually that of the music starting to play or any new music being played in the top right corner as an alert or banner. Does it happen with djay or not, if yes, mine is not working.

Ok, attached is a video of a media player with Macbook Pro notifications enabled for the app. Look in the top right corner. If a next music starts to play or is triggered, the tittle and … appear at the corner as a banner. The same happens with Music from Apple.
I have also included the settings under system setting and notification.

I tried to add the settings but your system doesnt take.heic files and I even changed it to jpg and png but no.
Those file formats should be fine. Please try the suggested Google Drive option above then.

The Mac setings is the heic picture which refuses to upload. But those are the same setting you make to any notification app on Mac… e.g for Apple music.
Ahh… now I see what you’re talking about. Thanks for the video! Currently, we do not support these types of notifications with djay like with the Music App.
