"Start playback" unchecked but songs still start playing when I load them

I have Start Play unchecked in settings>general but songs still start playing when I load them. Any idea how I can fix this?

So sorry for the late response, It still does it intermittently. I am using a 2024 Macbook Pro / Sequoia 15.6.1 / Pioneer DDJ REV7 (newest firmware). I can post a video but I think it might be kind redundant because it’s really as simple as I have the function unchecked and yet when I load a track (Apple Music, Spotify or even personal library) by either clicking, drop and drag or loading from the controller itself it happens …but intermittently.
