I’ve had five gigs during the last week where I’ve used Djay Pro 1.2.1 together with Pioneer DDJ-SX. I’m on Il Capitan on OSX (version 10.11.1 (15B42)). The first three nights were problem free. During the fourth gig I had some “visual stuttering” on the wavebands during a couple of songs, but nothing more. Last night I had prepared for switching over to iTunes and playing a tune there while restarting Djay Pro. I did exactly that after some visual stuttering one hour in to the gig. After the restart everything seemed fine, but then 15-20 minutes later I got a stuttering sound during 2-3 seconds, right out of the blue. The crowd stopped, but then the playing continued. This happened an additional time and restarting Djay Pro obivously didn’t help.
I have a slight feeling that the behaviour can be triggered by looping a tune and playing if for a long time (repeating the loop many times), but I haven’t confirmed that. It’s obviously a semi-intermittent bug.
Anyone else? Any solutions?
Audio/waveform stutter/dropout happened to me Saturday night. Completely unacceptable and devasating to a live performance. With the beta expired, we need an update to the “stable” version (stable being an overstatement). Very disappointed in your quality of support. It’s obvious you guys care more about pushing your iPad version than supporting your current Macbook users. Shame.
I have had similar issues and Algoriddim have consistently been in touch in an attempt to solve the issue. In the end I was asked to delete and re-install the application and it solved the issue. It’s been about 6 months of searching the web for answers and I forgot to try the basics.
How is the update before Christmas coming along?
Today I have a big gig… Let’s hope there is no stutter…
I have reinstalled the application and it didn’t help. I’m still waiting for the software update which is nowhere to be seen as far as I know.
Maybe add “solved” to youre title?

I use the same as you, hangvar. I had not had these problems. Is youre mac overheating during gig?
And did you update to latest version and gave it a test run?
We are already aware of some performance bugs in the latest update but we’re already working on a fix for these bugs.

yeh it happens to me aswell…if u mix for more than 10 minutes or so and jump from cue 1 to cue 2 for example …the sound stops for a second…its hella annoying

What really gets me is the lack of response from Algoriddim. You have a potentially brilliant but highly buggy product, and you treat your paying clients this way. Totally unacceptable. Just watch what will happen when a worthy competitor hits the market…Fact.
