i need a solution to my renewal of subscription on windows 10, since last year i could not renew my subscription, i have changed account to make a new subscription to Djay but its still the same, the window that has to pop up on the app for me to complete the transaction would just flash for a second and would appear at all, please has anyone ever come across this issue before, Any ideas Please.

Hi @Reuben_Williams, sorry to hear you’re still experiencing this issue.

  1. Please start by backing up your djay Media Library database file to a new location on your internal drive, to an external drive, or to a cloud service.
    a. On Windows it can be found in %HOMEPATH%>Music>djay>djay Media Library.
  2. Close and uninstall djay on your Windows device.
  3. If you have an iOS, Android or macOS device, please install djay on one of these from their official App store. Note that a single djay subscription can be used on multiple, cross-platform devices.
  4. Log into your My djay account using the email and password you created previously.
  5. Renew your djay subscription on this device.
  6. Download the latest version of djay from the official Microsoft App store.
  7. Launch djay and log into you My djay account using the same email and password above. Your subscription should be automatically upaded.

Please confirm if that solves your issue. Thanks!

okay i will, thanks i will get back to you.

hello, i have more a question to asked, because sometimes it does not require me to carry a controller to certain small event, so sometimes my laptop is enough, so i was wondering if its possible to map a wireless keyboard especially for the stems faders and some fx just to make life easy, if its doable please guide.

Hi @Reuben_Williams, the Windows version of djay does support keyboard shortcuts so a wireless keyboard should work fine. These are not currently customizable though so you will have to make do with what is currently mapped.

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!

Good Morning slak, I think the mistake I did initially was when I downloaded the app the first time I didn’t create an account, That’s the reason why I renew my subscription because non of my accounts are associated with my subscription to warrant renewal, that means I have to try out your suggestion, that is to download the app on another device, create a new account, log in and then complete the transaction.

Good morning @Reuben_Williams. Okay, sounds good. Please report back on the results.

Good day Slak_jaw I need some advice on a particular subject, At the moment I can’t afford the controller of my Choice yet, which is the reloop mixtour pro, but I’m working on it.
So basically I’m using just a laptop for Djay pro for the time being, but there is one midi device Called M-Vave SMC-Pad. It’s very reasonably, So I was wondering if at all I use it for the time being at least to make things a bit easier, so I wanna know if it’s possible to use it with Djay pro and how?
My first idea was mapping the knobs for Neutral stems faders and the filters, then think of something else for the pads, Can you please advise me.

Hi again @Reuben_Williams, I’m not familiar with that specific controller, but it should be no problem to make a custom MIDI mapping for this on Windows using the MIDI Learn tool. I recommend you check the manufacturer’s website for the latest firmware and drivers first. Then please have a look at our FAQ linked below.
