Sudden change in beatgrid on a prepared track

I came to notice during a gig, that some of my tracks, which were prepared long ago changed their beargrid from static to dynamic and that’s wrong. I managed to chage it during the play, but now I wonder just how many tracks this sudden change touched? could that have happened on it’s own? is there a way to bulk change all the selected tracks to static beatgrid just in case? Or I have to check 1200+ tracks manually…

That’s a good question Alex!

I experienced the same issue during a mix that was based on a loop and initially worked perfectly. During a live performance, it suddenly went off-beat because the beatgrid had changed without warning, which threw off the timing. This is really frustrating, especially when you can’t see at a glance which beatgrid mode each track is using. A feature to switch multiple tracks to Static Beatgrid at once would save a lot of time for those with large music libraries, like your 1200+ tracks! Does anyone know if this is possible?

It would also be extremely useful if you could visually see in the track list whether a track is set to static or dynamic beatgrid. That would make it easier to quickly spot tracks that might cause issues. This could be a great feature request for a future update. Additionally, being able to ‘lock’ a track’s settings would help prevent these kinds of unpleasant surprises during performances.

A while back now, they added the option to set Tempo Change Detection to Off (Straight Only).
