You’re welcome @Yan. Are you using the (built-in) MIDI mapping or a custom edit? It looks to me like you’ve mapped both sets of buttons to Deck 1 and Deck 2. Try mapping two of them to Deck 3 and Deck 4.
Hi @Yan, okay thanks for the correction regarding Channel 3 - that helps a bit. I’m still not 100% sure I understand your issue.
For starters, please note that unlike with some other DJ software, the Manual FX in djay are fixed to each of the Channels/Decks. You cannot for example assign the Manual FX for Deck 2 to apply to Deck 1 instead like you can in Traktor.
I believe in the built-in MIDI mapping these FX1 & FX2 buttons above the gain knobs were instead assigned to Instant FX instead of FX Deck Assignments like you might be expecting.
If I’m still understanding your issue incorrectly, perhaps you could record a short video to help clarify what you are trying to do and what is not working as expected.
Hi thanks maybe you give the answer.
Sorry for m’y poor english .
I thought that it was possible to assign the 3 knobs fx1 and the 3 knobs FX 2 to each deck that’s means 6 effect per deck .
If i understand well it’s not possible ?
The only possibility is to assign the 3 left knobs to deck 1 or 3 and the 3 right knobs to to deck 2 and 4
I’am right ?
At the moment it’s only possible to select fx1 or fx2 on deck 1 . Is it normal ?
This is not possible with djay. The 3 Manual FX for Deck 1 can only be assigned to Deck 1. Same for Deck 2, 3, and 4. You cannot assign these to other decks to increase the number of FX per deck from 3 to 6.
I don’t have access to this hardware to check, but I believe with the (built-in) MIDI mapping, you can select all 3 Manual FX for each Deck using these buttons:
