Sync and Tempo Blend without CFX?

Hey folks,

Really getting a hard time mastering over sync and tempo related stuff. If we use the automix function with fx crossfader toggled on, it auto adjusts or more precisely blends the bpm from the outgoing track to incoming track very intelligently and it is visible too.

I mostly use crossfader but with fx crossfader turned off. And for me, the auto tempo adjustment or blemd doesnt happens if i turn the fx crossfader to off position.

Is there any way to achieve the same blend with using crossfader but crossfader fx turned off. Basically taking a more manual approach from deck 1 to deck 2 than using the echo, dissolve, fade, filter etc etc crossfader fx???

Hi @Se7en, welcome to the Community! You could set your Crossfader FX type to Fade. This will not apply any additional FX or EQing to the crossfader and will still allow you to use the automatic Tempo Blend.

The only other way to use the Tempo Blend is with Automix, but this is even less manual than using the crossfader.

Yes without cfx.

You sure fx wont any kind of effects?

The Fade Crossfader FX type is the simplest option with no additional FX applied. If you want to use Tempo Blend, this is your best option.
