Your question:
Hi All,
Since the last patch it seems my sync feature is working differently and it’s throwing our completely how I put together my mixes
I tend to a lot of short, snappy transtions as I tend to play older genre music and find this works well
Historically say I had deck 1 playing 125BPM and deck 2 was cued up at 120 BPM I would hit synch on Deck 2 and this would then snap to 125BPM then as soon as I hit the cue buttom, or coloured cue point, or just play on Deck 2 it would snap to the beat on deck 1 and play at the set 125 BMP, job done
It now semes to achieve this I need to press Synch a second time, not play or a cue point. If I now do a transition how I used to (as outlined above) the Deck 2 plays at the matched BPM but will not snap to the beat (sync) often meaning the track is initially slightly out. To achieve this I have to press sync a second time, rather than play or cue point etc this leaves zero margin for error as quite often the sync button will snap to the wrong beat and ruin the transition
Is this something I’ve changed in my settings by mistake? It may be and if so maybe somebody can assist, I can send a video in if the above doesn’t make sense
I’ve been using my original method from day one with Djay Pro and hope I can go back to it with some guidance, I find hitting synch a second time a lot more tempremental
Thanks as always
Cuzer
