Sync playlist from MacBook to iPhone

Hi everyone, I installed DJ Pro on my Mac to try and replace Traktor Pro 4, which is currently my main software. (I hope they fix the problem of highlighting tracks in playlists and using harmony keys as requested by several users on the forum soon. That would be a game-changer.) But I’m currently considering purchasing a Mixtour Pro and using DJ Pro on my iPhone, a 16 Pro Max.
My question is: how can I sync my playlists from DJ Pro on my Mac (Air M2) to my iPhone?
I currently sync my playlists from Traktor to DJ Pro using the sync function in DJ Pro; I don’t use the Music app.
I’d also like to avoid third-party apps that sync between software like DJCU. Is there a way to find my playlists on both my Mac and iPhone?

Hi @Screma, syncing My Collection playlists between macOS and iOS is currently a manual process. You need to copy the djayMediaLibrary database from you main device to your secondary device.

What about using the OneLibrary feature? It does require using an external USB though and therefore a USB hub connected to your iPhone.

I’ve been experimenting with it for use with my Mixtour Pro and my iPad.

You can export your playlists to a USB and then DJAY on your iPhone can see all the playlists and cue points etc. I have a Kingston SSD and I just stick it and the hub to my iPad stand.

You can export from DJAY or Rekordbox and it’s coming to Traktor as well.

Early stages for me, but I think I prefer it to using the Music.app.

Downside is that it’s read only, so my understanding is that changes made to songs on your phone can’t be sync’d back to your Mac Air M2.

Upside is it’s pretty much the same as what you are doing if you DJ with CDJ’s. So the same USB I use for my iPad and DJAY can be used with Pioneer CDJ’s.

Hi, actually, using rekordbox too, I did exactly that… and it came out very well

Hi @rishi and @Screma, OneLibrary is definitely another good option. Thanks for sharing.
