sorry but I still have the problem when using the stem with TIDAL, still not trustable functionality. I follow your instruction but still having the bug. It works few time then not, work back again then not, really unstable

Hi @VenetianDJ, can you please clarify the issue that you are experiencing?

  1. Is it this?
  1. Or is it this?

Sure, appears the pop-up asking me to subscribe the TIDAL DJ option to use the stem separation. Sometime it works, often not.
I follow your instructions but still occurring the same bug.

Thanks for clarifying @VenetianDJ. Can you please share a screenshot of the pop-up message so I can forward this to the engineering team for further review? Also, are you running djay 5.1.6 or 5.1.7? Thanks!

I am using 5.1.6

Hi @VenetianDJ, thanks for the additional info and screenshots. I’ve sent this to the engineering team to see if they can replicate the issue and offer and suggestions. Thanks!

Hi @VenetianDJ, I spoke with engineering and they have a follow up question for you:

When you start seeing this alert for the first time, does it then happen for every TIDAL track you load afterwards?

Hi @VenetianDJ, I’m following up on this question from 9 days ago. Thanks.

Hello! It’s been over a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!

This happened to me twice this weekend, a long with Beatsource and SoundCloud songs being labeled as Tidal songs, thus negating them in playlists.

Hi @E_Flem, thanks for the info. When you start seeing this alert for the first time, does it then happen for every TIDAL track you load afterwards?

No, just at the past 2 gigs, when I log on to DJAY, I have to log into Tidal.

I still having doubt of they can solve the problem, i am still not able
using the stems when on Tidal, report I need to subscribe the DJ option, I
have it. I have tried all the possibilities and still working by chance.

I am moving back to Serat now.

Thanks for the additional info @E_Flem and @VenetianDJ. Unfortunately, the engineering team has still not been able to replicate your specific issues. There are still investigating this and I’ll report back when I have news. Thanks!
