Summary of the issue: I have a tracks that were originally accessed through Files in an iCloud shared drive. I’ve now imported these into Apple Music and replaced the Files sourced tracks in My Collection playlists with the Apple Music versions most of these are now showing with the Apple Music icon but some are not. I’ve unlinked all tracks in Files and even deleted the files but it makes no difference. I’ve tried updating the metadata in Apple Music to see if that would trigger that they were actually different. I added artwork in Apple Music which shows in the Apple Music playlist but as soon as you add it to the queue or a my collection playlist the metadata is different and there is no artwork. It’s driving me mental.

How to reproduce the issue: Not sure because it’s only happening to a few random files out of all the ones that have gone through the same process. I’ve found if I change the name of the track in Apple Music it behaves properly but as soon as I put the name back it goes back to the same buggy behaviour.

You can see the issue with the track Chicka in the below screenshot

Been there. Quitted using music section.

It’s quite a headache having the same track in my collection as well as in Music section.
It’s as if the same track is different (as if they’re 2 different tracks).

I used to use kid3 app to edit metadata. What would happen was that the edit takes effect instantly in Collection, but won’t appear in Music section for the same track.
For Music section to reflect the changes i would have to first open Music app and play it there first, music app would then grab the changes and port onto djay
