I am very new to the dj game and am currently trying my hand at djay PRO. Sorry if there is already a solution to my problem… maybe I’m just searching wrong because I’m using the terms wrong. I recently bought a Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 and am happy so far.
On the S2 there is a filter knob and 4 FX select buttons. The buttons are not assigned in djay PRO. Basically I figured out how to remap everything via MIDI mapping, but I have a special request.
I would like to have the FX select buttons change what the filter knob does when pressed. Specifically:
When I press the FX 1 button I would like the filter button ZB to control a flanger at FX 2 to control echo etc.
Is this even possible? I think that’s what the FX select buttons are for… Thanks for your help! I hope you understand what I want to do…
