If I bought a new iPhone, would my collection move over to it automatically? I’ve been all in for about a month now, ditched the laptop and been loving it. Just wondering how I can preserve my playlists between devices. They all have tracks from all of the streaming services and local files.
You can copy your collection from your old device to your new one using the Files app on iOS. Select the Files app then Locations->On My iPhone->djay->User Data->
Once in here select the “…” icon in the top right then Select. Check off the djay Media Libray.djayMediaLibrary file and either Copy it to your iCloud Drive using the folder icon at the bottom or share it to something like Dropbox using the share icon.
Then save it in the same location on your new device.
