Unable to make a new playlist inside the app

Regardless of the method, I can’t create a new playlist.
File > New Playlist
Cmd + N
Click on + icon

I’ve tried resetting the preferences [1]. Any other ideas?

[1] defaults delete com.algoriddim.djay-iphone-free

Welcome to our Community Forums and sorry to hear about the issue you’ve encountered. So we can take a closer look, could you please tell us the following:

  1. What device are you currently using?
  2. What macOS are you currently running?
  3. What version of djay are you currently using?
  4. Are the methods you’ve described grayed out in the app (e.g., File > New Playlist, the + icon)? What happens exactly when you click on these?
  5. Have you already tried doing a fresh reinstall of the software to see if this solves the issue?
