Trying this app, especially automix on Android and Windows.
On Android automix playback glitches anything I do and on change, and stops when screen goes off.
Sometimes there’s doubled payback, songs are played twice at same time.
Also, it sometimes hangs on splash screen opening the app, I need to kill and reopen.
It’s a Galaxy S22 Ultra running Android 14.
App is set for unlimited battery usage.
Again on Android, how to load songs from network folders?
On both Android and Windows, I’m not clear some things.
How to add an entire folder to queue?
How to add several folders to queue?
How to make it shuffle only between similar BPM songs?
How to load cue points from FLAC or other metadata?
Hi @U83, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Can you please try to capture a short video of the issue and upload it here?
I don’t have access to an Android device, but I can answer these for Windows:
How to add an entire folder to queue?
a. WINDOWS: you need to SHIFT+Select all of the songs in the playlist/folder then Right Click and select Add to Queue.
b. I’m not sure if it’s the same on Android, but on iOS there is a dropdown menu at the top of the playlist that has Add All to Queue
How to add several folders to queue?
a. You need to do this one folder/playlist at a time as shown above.
How to make it shuffle only between similar BPM songs?
a. With a song loaded onto a Deck, you could use the Match Feature in the side panel to randomly select songs that are in similar BPMs and similar Keys.
b. Alternatively, you could sort your selected playlist by BPM and play the songs in order rather than with shuffle enabled.
c. You could create a manual playlist with the songs in the BPM range that you want to shuffle between.
How to load cue points from FLAC or other metadata?
a. If your cue points were added to the FLAC file from another DJ software, you will either need to re-add them in djay or use a 3rd party software like Lexicon, DJ Conversion Utility, Mixo or Rekordcloud.
Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
