Using Lightning Digital AV Adapter on Ipad2 and low sound level on headphones jack

Hi,
I used a Lightning Digital AV Adapter on Ipad2 with vjay. Video to beamer with hdmi: no problem. with audio output to headphones then to a pioneer mixer, I had a very low sound output level. Has anyone an idea why? And how to fix it?

Hi Andreas,

What if you play a video with the Videos app? Do you then experience the same issue?

Please try the following:

  • start vjay
  • connect your headphones first and raise the volume to max using the volume buttons on the side of the iPad
  • then connect the AV adapter
  • raise the volume to max again using the volume buttons

No, if i play a video, sound level is ok and as expected.
I also tryed different adjustments. Output level was on maximum on both vjay and video.
