The old Vestax Spin 1 generally works like a charm with my iPhone 6+, even though it probably wasn’t originally supposed to. Djay 2 is way more fun now with my old but very useful piece of hardware.
My question is this - I haven’t figured out how to get the mic input working so I can say cool words over my mixes. It just sort of seems to do…nothing.
Now for the price I got the Spin 1 for I’m totally happy with my micless wonder, but is there a way to get it to work? Am I doing something wrong? Can I do something clever with Audiobus? Or does it just not work with djay 2 on the iphone?
Please let me know so I can put this question to rest once and for all.
