Vocal Bounce Loop not working with CFX

When you have cross fader effects on and attempt to use the bounce effect with the two arrows facing up and down enabled (This makes it so the loop does not stop the track) the loop does not work. If you disable those arrows which then just allows for stop loops it works. Am I missing something or is this just something that needs to be adjusted in a future update? This only happens when using cross fader effects.

Also, I’m not sure that I fully understand what’s going on based on your description. Can you please try to capture a short video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!

Hello! It’s been more than a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!

I replied but never heard back. See screenshot above.

Hi @joytek, thanks for the screenshot. I’m still unclear what the issue is. Can you please try to capture a short video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions , then share a link to the video here? Thanks!

Here u go, cross fader effects on disables the studder effect when on. My previous screenshot with the arrow pointing to the feature enabling the studdering. No idea what the feature is called but I pointed to it in previous screenshot.

Thanks for the video @joytek. That is much more clear now! I believe this is intentional or possibly a technical limitation of CFX and applying the Bounce Loop to the Vocal STEM. However, I have passed this onto the engineering team to confirm. I’ll report back when I have news. Thanks!

Thank you. Now I know what it is called, a bounce loop. Thanks for looking into this. I was just curious as adding the bounce loop in along with the cross fader effect makes for some interesting transitions

You’re welcome. Have you tried changing the CFX type to to a non-Neural Mix option like Filter, Echo, Dissolve, etc.?

Good thinking. I just tested and yes it works with the 3 effects u mentioned. It Seems to be an issue with the cross fader effect using stems. Wonder if this is something that might be rectified in a future update. Might be something worth bringing up to the devs although they may already be aware.

I’ve already shared with the devs, but I think this is expected behaviour because you’re effectively trying to double up on the Neural Mix functions.
