YOUR QUESTION / SUGGESTION / FEEDBACK:

Hi everyone,

It seems that the only way I can get Djay Pro to recognize and work with my Phase DJ is if I do not open The Phase Manager app.

It is very simple:

If I open the Phase Manager app, Djay pro will not offer me the Wireless option for controlling the decks. Phase DJ is connected via USB.

If I only connect the hardware without opening Phase Manager, Djay pro does recognize them, I can pick wireless and control the sound.

I have no idea why this is, and it is annoying because after 2-3 hours of play, the phase controller is trying to act out and starts drifting, which is a problem with scratching. Phase Manager has an option to recalibrate on the go by double tapping the controllers, but I cannot do that as djay pro won’t work with Phase Manager opened. I did install/reinstall and no change in that behaviour.

Serato does recognize them with Phase Manager opened.

Thanks

Hi @Metaloid, welcome to the Community! Can you please confirm if you are running Windows 11 25H2?

If so, please refer to this help article:

Hi there, thank you for your answer.

I am on 25H2 yes, and I did have massive issues with the latest updates blocking the recognition of my Rane Seventy by djay pro and serato.

I did a fresh windows install and rolled back certain updates and Rane is working 100% now.

It looks like I still have the KB5077181 version installed. Should I uninstall it?

Thanks

You’re welcome @Metaloid. Yes, uninstall it.

Hey thank you for the support.

I am unable to uninstall KB5077181 because I had clean installed windows and it came with that update.

I am trying to find a way to remove it.

You’re welcome @Metaloid. In this case I recommend you contact Microsoft Support.
