Hi everybody, I’m not sure what this setting actually does but I read somewhere that’s for scratching it. It should be on but basically I think it makes the cross fader behave like there is not a gradual volume only left right and middle if that makes sense. Cross fader cutting mode
Hi @kfarrell70, basically this setting turns your hardware Crossfader into and ON/OFF switch instead of a smooth fader. You can see this on screen. With this setting enabled, you will see that a small movement of your hardware Crossfader from either side will jump it to the center position onscreen. It just makes it a lot easier to do quick Crossfader cuts which you typically want when scratching. This can also help compensate for hardware Crossfaders that do not have short cut in distances.
