Where does Djay Pro for Windows Store its Track Metadata?

Hi there,

When a track in Djay Pro on Windows is analysed for the first time and then CUE points are applied, where is that data stored? Are you touching the original files in any way?

I ask because I am hesitant to let Djay Pro “touch” my master music files in my Traktor folder, as Traktor has applied it’s own file-based tags to those files and so on.

For right now, whilst I am experimenting, I am taking copies of some files into a temp directory that Djay can access. I don’t want to end up with two copies of all my tracks for obvious reasons, but can anyone please confirm if the files will be messed about with in a similar way Traktor does with them already, or do you store all metadata for every track in the library within the Djay Pro database?
