Hey there - I’ve been trying to connect to djay with both cdj3000’s and xdj1000mk2s.
I use a windows laptop…. Im guessing it won’t work with windows? Have to get a Mac I suppose?
That is correct @AgentOllie. These are only supported on macOS. Please see our support page for each OS here:
Sorry to bring up an old post. What didn’t the Mixon 8 do for you? What were its shortcomings that made you pass on it?

No problem asking this.
I had bough one of these and tried it with the Dj Software.
It worked although I had to remap some controls as the standard mapping that the software picks when you connect it, does not work properly.
So when using this controller you best remap it to your liking.
I am selling my controller if you’re interested, gigs that I was supposed to be doing all fell through.

The XDJ-1000mk2 is now officially supported on Windows and macOS (including screen support).
We also added screen support for the following on macOS and Windows:

3 questions:
- Any idea of when waveforms will become compatible with engineos controllers?
- Will older controllers like the numark mixstream controllers get this functionality and not just the rane system one?
- Will this type of functionality only be available with a laptop and not iOS/ipados devices?
