White triangle on the waveform?

hey everyone!

I’m running Djay pro 5.2.9 with an Imac (12.7.6) on the Beatpad Reloop.

Can someone tell me what the white triangle on the top of the waveform is used for and also how can i get rid of it.

The white triangle appear as soon as i load a new track. And sometime it dont show on some other track…

thank you

Jean-François

Hi @Jean-Francois_Duguay, the is the Temporary Cue. It’s set by press the large Cue button on your hardware when the deck is paused. Pressing the Cue button on your hardware while the track is playing will allow you to jump to this temporary cue like you can with a Hot Cue.

On iOS, if you navigate to the djay Settings>Appearance and change the Start Cue Button to Set/Jump, you can remove the Temporary Cue by long pressing on the SET button.

Thanks for your quick answer Slak_Jaw!

The reason why i’m talking about the white triangle is because it’s creating a bug when cueing other parts of the track.

As an exemple, i’m choosing 4 cues points. When i’m about to choose the fourth one, it create it at the same place where the white arrow is appearing.

I’m sorry for the explanation. I hope it’s clear enough on your side!

It can be deleted just a few step but not ideal to delete as IOS version

You’re welcome @Jean-Francois_Duguay. I’m not sure that I fully understand the issue you’re explaining. Can you please try to capture a short video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!
