Windows Version is very sluggish

  • Hardware/controllers used : Not relevant, also happens without a controller

Summary of the issue:

I normally use a MacBookPro for DJing with Djay Pro.
I have set up a Windows notebook as a backup.
My music library contains about 40000 tracks. They are located in the Music directory and are automatically imported by Djay. After all the tracks have been imported, it is almost impossible to work with Djay (Windows). Everything is extremely sluggish.
With a small or empty music database in DJay, everything is fine.
A friend of mine has almost the same notebook and therefore the same problem.
Is this behavior known and is there a solution?

I have absolutely no problems with the size of the database on the MacBook

Hi @MichaFalki, please update to the latest Windows version 5.2.11033.0 of djay which was released yesterday. This new version includes performance improvements related to sorting large libraries. Thanks!

It works much better now.
I have found another small bug. But I’ll open a new topic for that.
