Hi, how to map XDJ-XZ?
also how to load songs to deck 3 and 4 ? when I double press shift button to active deck 3&4 I can’t load the song by pressing load to deck 1&2 button, i can only drag the song with mouse to deck 3&4, please help

- I don’t have access to that hardware, but I would try MIDI Mapping SHIFT+Load Deck 1 to Load Deck 3 and SHIFT+Load Deck 2 to Load Deck 4.

I can map my FLX4 freely, I mapped SHIFT + CUE deck 1,2 to active for controlling stems volume etc… but XZ is not responding to midi mapping like the FLX4, I tried to midi map some buttons nothing happens…I can’t midi map for loading songs, or the stem volume control, if you don’t have the controller you probably don’t really understand what’s my problem…

- Are you connecting to a Windows laptop, Mac or iOS device?
- Did you download and install the latest drivers for the XDJ-XZ?

Hi @hardbea7, thanks for the details about your hardware. It’s possible that some of the controls on the XZ do not send MIDI commands and are therefor not MIDI Mappable. When you are in the MIDI Learn tool in djay, what happens when you press buttons on the XZ? Do any of them respond?
most dont respond, only pads and some buttons
Okay, thanks for confirming @hardbea7. unfortunately, this is a limitation of the hardware and mapping of these controls is not permitted within the MIDI Learn tool of djay.
