Xone 24c post fader FX

Hi all

As above, does the new Xone 24c have post fader FX, particularly when playing real vinyl with Djay Pro in thru mode?

Hi @STU-C, you can enable Post Fader FX in the djay Settings>Sound.

Thank you, and will that mean you still have to have the channel selector in USB mode then run the record through the software? or will the software work in say phono mode on the channel selector?

I guess its an audio routing question.

the xone24c doesn’t have an effects routing not in the same way as like a numark scratch or a pioneer s5

it just has a master fx insert

Thank you, A&H replied to me on YouTube to confirm the same. I’m waiting patiently for the next generation of scratch mixer to release. USB-C and FX are a must.

Configurable routing for post-fader FX

Votes on the top left please. djay supports post-fader FX, which is great. However, in hardware mixer mode this functionality becomes far less useful when the FX are always routed back into the same channel they originate from. That routing limitation breaks one of the most common real-world use cases for post-fader effects: letting reverb or echo tails continue after the channel fader is closed.
