I’ve been trying to link 3 iPads using Lounchpad & iElectribute with DjayPro to match beet BPM but it’s not linking 2 other ipads works when I change BPM on the other one changes automatically, I see on djay Settings 2 apps . Any tips, thanks
waiting to buy djay pro when it releases new version with link.
in the future not having link enabled will be like having dj software that doesn’t offer sync functionality.
like commenter said before, you’re loosing to crossdj but your software still has the upper hand with spotify enabled. if i didn’t care about spotify i would’ve already jumped to crossdj because of how important link is to my process.
what’s the hold up?!?!?!
algoriddim! please respond, don’t leave us hanging…
thanks lukas!!! still waiting to purchase djpro when ableton link is up and running…
Bought Dj Pro yesterday and I’m agree with all above. I’ve been playing with Reactable Rotor (which it has Link), it was SO much fun but manual sync is not the best. It’s like come back to the old times;-)Ableton link is the solution even for the samples pads, where you can load your own loops perfectly in sync. It will be a big step forward.
If we push it here I’m sure they will be support Link. They said to bring the thread here when I requested Link support a few weeks a go and they said it was a good idea. Link as a standard, make even more sense in a Dj app. I’m also waiting for Link to use Dj Pro in a Live set-up. Love this app.
Agree. Every app need Link these days. It works really nice.Curious about that unreleased app:-)
As everyone said all above: please Link’em all!
I also would really like to see Ableton Link integrated. It is open sourced so I cant see any reason it shouldn’t be implemented into the software. Would be cool to be finally able to use my Soundswitch module with Djay Pro since they added Ableton Link support to their software. It would take Djay Pro software to the next level.
Wow, really surprised this doesn’t have Ableton Link a year out. I have three released dj apps that have it integrated and I’m beta testing another phenomenal ios DJ app with it as well as a whole host of other features that is about to be released. I’d buy this one too, but not without Link as it’s important to my live setup. Is it on the roadmap?
Count this as my push Currently, I’m using dj player pro and djdj and also one unreleased ios app loaded with features that I’m beta-testing. All of these I can map to any cheap midi device and they all have Ableton Link. I’d pick this one up to play with, but at minimum it should have Link.
I thought I had a workaround hosting it in AUM, but when doing that and trying to use Spotify as a source “Could not load track” Spotify tracks cannot be used when it’s connected via IAA interapp-audio. As a developer I understand why Apple places this limitation there and it just goes to show how this app really needs Link natively…
Here’s the one I’ve been beta testing the last year. Link, AU hosting for FX, generic MIDI controller compatibility. I was skeptical about the earlier designs, but now it’s on another level. Hope it does well: http://cdm.link/2017/12/soda-finally-…
The past, the future… link - link - link - link - please?
Oh man i’m so glad i bought this app a while ago ! Ableton Link is beautiful i mean l im in love with that kinda stuff and been able to play with the pitch ,etc, also possibilities are endless if you have as many ios devices as you need all sync together for your live session and even building tracks on the fly ! and finally for recording and remixing tho, this thing is absolutely necessary when it comes to implementing into your workflow.
WE THE PEOPLE !!!
WE NEED ABLETON LINK IN THIS APP MORE THAN ANY OTHER APP, because IT WILL OPEN extraordinary paths of the creation of music.
+1. Purchased to support past and future development.
Ableton Link is very much needed. I am really surprised and disappointed it is not inplemented yet while most important iOS music apps already offer it. Link for djay 2/pro seems a no brainer these days. Please add this highly requested function in a future update. Thanks!
