Add a Search Bar specifically for Playlists

Hi DJay Team,

I’m a proffesional mobile DJ that works in Weddings and a varaity of events.
My library is big and i have MANY diffrent playlists.

Some features that i’m sure will help many djs like me, order by priority (IMO):

  1. The ability to Search for a Playlist
    To have a small search bar above the playlists list and to be able to look for a specific playlist. God knows how much this is needed haha. Please!

Would literally improve my Djing and my life in general ngl!!!

#4 This is already possible by enabling the correct menus. I’m showing the Windows version as an example, but it’s pretty similar on macOS.

About #4 -
I would argue that this specific place is not only hidden to get to, but it takes A LOT of unnessecery space in the UI.
Maybe adding it the the pace that i suggested can save up that space.

Can there be a playlist “search” function for Tidal like they have on the app?

Thanks, I used Tidal because it already had a search algorithm that would probably be more easier to implement.

Thank we need playlist search!!! ASAP!! We hate scrolling just to find one playlist buried in our playlist section! This will save lots of time when DJing on the fly. Thank you!! :folded_hands:t5::folded_hands:t5:

Hey @Slak_Jaw

We also need a “playlist bank,” where you can store playlist from streaming services, for that specific event. Maybe 10 playlists per streaming service, or more. If you got 80 playlists, having a dedicated bank can be helpful.

be nice to have crates or folders you can add Tidal playlists to,

like a rock folder, you can add all your rock Tidal playlist to, it helps minimise all the playlists into sections you can easily find what your looking for, especially when you have so many playlists in tidal.

Spotify has folders their app but it would be nice if DJay Pro could have it too.
