Hey there… I think i would be nice to have scratch banks… Very usefuly when being creative with scratching… Loading samples all the time is a headache esp with the iphone… And also you could allow more that 8 banks to be saved like virtual dj… Banks are loaded like playlists… They have a very good scratch bank engine! Thanks in advance ![]()
Hi @PRO24DJS,
Thank you for your suggestion!
This is an interesting idea and I will be sure to pass this along to our development team for future consideration!
Please know that we greatly appreciate your feedback and suggestions, and our team must carefully consider and prioritize all feedback that we receive.
In addition, if other users also feel these features would be useful, we encourage them to vote on this topic thread as well so we have a better idea of the interest from others in our community!
I was able to create and export to m3u with Musicolet Music Player for android.

The one thing Serato has that I envy = Scratch bank… the fact it’s built in to most new scratch focused mixers makes it such a powerful, instant gratification feature.
When you’re in the heat of the moment the last thing you wanna do is faff thru playlists. unload/reload vs hit scratch bank, instant sample load - quick scratch then back to mixing = joy
Hi everyone,
I recently switched to DJay Pro after using Serato DJ Pro for many years. I have to say, DJay Pro is a really great piece of software — the beatgrids are amazing, the library management is solid, and the overall interface feels very modern and smooth. I’m really enjoying it so far.
However, in my opinion, there are two very important features missing, especially for DJs like me who are scratch DJ/Turntablist, and also play open format sets.
The first one is the Scratch Bank. In Serato, this feature lets you load multiple samples or short tracks and scratch them instantly, without having to manually load them every time. You can trigger them directly from the mixer (in my case, a DJM-S11) with just a couple of buttons. It’s incredibly useful for scratch routines and quick performances.
The second missing feature is Flip. This allows you to save cue points and make the track automatically jump from one point to another. Basically, it lets you create your own custom edits inside the software, without using any third-party DAWs or editors.
For example, if a track is 5 minutes long, I can make it jump between sections and create a 2.5-minute version that’s ready to mix more efficiently. The best part is that it’s all saved — every time I load that track, my Flip edit is already there. And if I ever want to play the full track, I can just disable Flip instantly.
In my opinion, these two features — Scratch Bank and Flip — make Serato extremely powerful and flexible, especially for turntablists or DJs using mixers like the DJM-S11. They would be a huge addition if implemented in DJay Pro.
Would love to hear if anyone else misses these features or has found a good workaround inside DJay Pro.
I really hope the Algoriddim team considers adding Scratch Bank and Flip in the future — they’d make the software perfect for turntablists and open-format DJs.
