Adding midi controller to Mixon 8 set up.

I would like to add a small midi controller to controller neutral mix.
Am I able to plug the controller into one of the usb ports on the Mixon 8? Can it act as a hub ? Or do I need to add a hub and plug in the iPad and midi controller into the external hub ? At the moment I love the fact that I can use 1 usb c cable for data and power for the iPad.

What small midi controllers would you recommend?

Hi @Nubium, you will need a USB hub connected to the iPad. You cannot connect the second MIDI controller to the Mixon 8. I use the Midi Fighter Twister and Spectra for Neural Mix. See my personal MIDI mappings linked below:
