Hello everyone! We’re happy to share our latest djay update. It should be rolling out to the various apps stores in the next 24-48 hours.
Added official support for AlphaTheta DJM-V5 and Pioneer DJ DJM-A9 (macOS, Windows, iOS)
Added official support for Pioneer DJ DJM-V10 (macOS, Windows)
CDJ: mark tracks in queue on screen (macOS, Windows)
Please also note that the Beatsource user migration to Beatport is now complete, so Beatsource has been removed from the media library sources.
NOTICE / REMINDER:
Just a friendly reminder everyone.
If you encounter any bugs, issues or have a detailed question about this release, please do NOT post them here because they could get lost in this general discussion.
Please post them in an existing related topic or create a new topic if necessary so we can have a focused discussion there and don’t miss anything important.
From AlphaTheta: Our DJ mixers: DJM-A9, DJM-V10, DJM-V10LF and DJM-V5 now officially support Algoriddim’s djay Pro. With the latest firmware update, your compatible mixer acts as an audio interface, removing the need for complex audio configuration. A subscription to djay Pro is required.
Please tell me the Pioneer DJM 900 NXS is in the works.
So many venues across Aus and NZ still have this mixer as the club standard. Not being able to run samples or assign those spare channel knobs to stems is such a pain. It honestly feels like I am DJing naked when I use it, and my only alternative lately has been to open Serato, which is such an annoying extra step.
I’m planning my move from Serato/Rekordbox on my REV 7 because I want more of an appliance setup. I tried Djay Pro today on my iPad and it worked great! The only annoying detail is the No Audio Driver display on the jog wheels.
Are you working on supporting the jog wheel displays?
If it will eventually be supported, I will cancel my Serato and Rekordbox and move over to Djay Pro, but please tell me you are working on it.
Hi @BerryJP, welcome to the Community! We don’t have any updates or information to share about jogwheel display support on iOS devices. As with Serato, if you use your macOS or Windows device they are supported.
