The playlists started slowly appearing yesterday - they seem to be all there now - so I am assuming there was something server side that has been fixed?
Thanks for the update. You are correct - sometimes there is a delay period in which the data being received does not populate in djay until a bit later. (e.g. tracks and playlist additions)
This is rare. However, it can happen depending on your region and library.
I too have created playlists and playlist folders in apple music and they are not populating in djay. Updated cloud library and genius, restarted and logged in/out of everything in the chain - still nothing.
Waited a few hours and tried again - still nothing.
@saxybeast1@Sascha_Tim_Fischer I reckon it took about 48 hours for my playlists to start syncing - then maybe another 6 hours before it was all done - hopefully yours start syncing soon.
I should have caught this during the wedding ceremony; I must have refreshed after adding another song, then I lost the groom and bridesmaids procession song. I accidentally played the brides song for them since it was “next” on my playlist. Still…rookie mistake and the wedding coordinator and brides were very sweet about my screw up. Makes me feel slightly better that at least I’m not going crazy and not the only one experiencing these issues.
I’ve also started having this issue, I’d hoped it was related to the AM loading bug that was fixed in the last update, but apparently not. It’s concerning how long this issue has existed and yet there’s no sign of a fix (happy to be corrected on that Agloriddim mods).
Experienced same issue as original post. To get around it I created two playlists in djay Pro yesterday using Apple Music search and adding tracks that way. Returned to computer a few hours later and the playlists were gone. Seems to be an Apple Music issue as they are not showing up consistently in that software (a friend also reported her Apple Music playlists appearing and disappearing in her phone app).
I’ve been using Djay for YEARS and was very disappointed to find out spotify was no longer supported after being away from Djing for a few years. Most likely becuase of Spotifys policy updates.
Making the move to apple music, and trying to get playlists imported as I am starting to DJ weddings again, and I appear to be having the same issue as the OP. Would love to know of a fix, workaround, or an update to this. I doubt that this is a “rare issue” based on hardware and region as many others are having similar issues…
Hi @SnappleDapple2, we don’t have any updates to share on this except that we are working with Apple on it. I’ll report back here when I have news though. Thanks!
Just to reply, i am also having the issue that I have transferred music from my library to Apple Music on my iPad pro. I can see the music in the apple music app, but i can’t see it in the djay app. This is very frustrating.
