Apple OS 27 updates?

Hi @jmoak311, thanks for sharing. With The RANE One MKII connected to your iPad, please navigate to the djay Settings→Audio Devices and press the Reset to Defaults at the bottom. Then close djay and test again.

This won’t change any of my midi mappings etc?

No, MIDI is completely separate from this control.

Gotcha. I tried that, but it didn’t help. It’s nbd but I have to already have the controller on and connected. Typically I open the software first, connect the usb and power on the controller. It’s always worked that way until the recent update. I can deal we having to restart the iPad

Thanks for confirming and sharing the video @jmoak311. So is this the connection and power on sequence you are using?

  1. Launch djay.
  2. Power your controller.
  3. Connect your controller to the iPad via USB.

If not, please share your exact steps.

I’ve always

  1. Launch djay
  2. Connect usb
  3. Power controller

Since the update I’ve just had to relaunch the iPad a second time

I’m sure I’ve connected the usb before launch as well but I always trim the co troller on last.

Okay, thanks for confirming. The above sequence is what we recommend in the iOS user manual.

And is djay compatible with macOS 27? And the Rane one mkII?

my last wedding is this weekend, so I’ll probably wait to update regardless.

I would wait. We are starting to get some reports related specifically to Reloop devices, so probably better to wait until after your wedding.

I haven’t seen any updates or posts about whether djay Pro works with macOS 27 (specifically with Macbooks). Has anyone tested it yet? If it does work, are there any known bugs or stability issues to be aware of?

Hi @itsRichySmart, I’ve merged your new topic with this existing one. macOS 27 is officially supported. There have been some bug reports, so if you have an important gig coming up, you may want to hold off.
