I did that but unfortunately it didn’t fix my issue.
Is there any way to install version 5.6.2?

Sorry to hear that didn’t help @Apos. The only way to install an earlier version of djay is if you have a full system backup of your Windows laptop that you can rollback to. All app downloads are handled by the official Microsoft Store and they do not offer older versions for download.
OK i have not been able to use Dj Pro since Windows had the latest update. I rolled back my windows and got it working however, despite having auto updates turned off, Windows at some point updated, and now I cannot roll back my version of Windows. I have read thru this forum, tried the Windows RT hotfix and nothing is working. My Raner Performer is still completely unresponsive. What I dont understand, is that this happened in what January, and we are not in May and there is no solution to this? I have updated the latest version of Dj Pro from the windows store and it is not working. This is incredibly frustrating. I have a show tomorrow and I now have no way to prepare for it. How can a software company with such a huge userbase on windows machines not have a solution to this in 5 months? Like seriously? I mean, its not like this is a niche platform, its windows. There are only what 4 different major platforms you guys have to worry about. Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. One of the four is broken, and in 5 months, you havent created a working solution? This is not acceptable man. If the latest software is not fixing this, there is no real working hot fix and the only solution is to roll back software that we cannot roll back due to windows limitation of only giving users 10 days to roll back to a previous version, are we all basically just screwed and forgotten? I really hate coming on forums like this and unloading, but 5 months??? Come on!
Hi @Fresh_3D, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Thanks for the feedback. Please check the official Microsoft Store and make sure you are running the latest version of djay. We released an update recently that might resolve your issue.
If that doesn’t help, please refer to the detailed workarounds in the linked help article below. In particular please try applying the MIDI timestamp fix from the following Release WinRT MIDI 1.0 Timestamp Fix · microsoft/MIDI · GitHub
Hi again @Fresh_3D, please also note that this is an OS level issue and is not isolated to djay. Please refer to the linked article below for more info:
Hi Fresh_3D, in your post you never mentioned the error you’re experiencing. Tell me what the problem is so I can help you. I’m a Windows user and I know very well how to troubleshoot Windows issues.
Quote from earlier post:
FYI VirtualDJ has an option to disable MIDI 2.0 from the settings, which applies a fix to the whole system - so you can install VDJ, disable MIDI 2.0, reboot then use the software of your choice! ![]()
It can also be turned back on the same way.
Thanks @djcanitamix and @PKtheDJ
In my case that doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s because I’m using Windows 11 ARM, but if I don’t install the Microsoft MIDI 2.0 console, Djay Pro doesn’t recognize my Pioneer REV7 controller.
@djcanitamix, have you tried uninstalling the Pioneer REV7 driver and using the Windows built-in driver instead? I suspect with the rotating platters this may not work, but perhaps worth testing at least.
That’s how I work on Windows 11 ARM; Pioneer hasn’t bothered to make drivers compatible with Windows 11 ARM.
I only use REV 7 to control the DJay PRO, and I handle the audio with a Behringer UMC 404HD.
I mapping REV 7 to use all four channels of the DJay PRO, and since I don’t have turntables on decks 3 and 4, I don’t get the error; it only happens with decks 1 and 2, which have the turntables.
Ah okay. Thanks for the additional info @djcanitamix
Pioneer urgently needs to update its Windows 11 drivers, as they are designed for the x86 platform and only work in emulated form on Windows 11 x64. However, they are not addressing this issue.
Well you’re on your own with ARM.
Other than djay Pro, I’m not aware of any DJ software that runs natively on the ARM version of Windows, or of any DJ hardware manufacturer providing drivers for it.
If the device is class compliant you may be OK, but many devices are not.
Please note that the REV7 is not officially supported for djay on Windows ARM.
I know that, but I managed to create a configuration where everything works except the REV 7 screens with Djay PRO, but I don’t really need the REV 7 screens, because that’s what the program’s screen is for.
I know that, but the future of Windows 11 ARM is very promising.
I hope DJ companies realize that.
Windows 11 ARM has a great emulator for running x64 programs on an ARM system. Virtual DJ and Rekordbox work well in emulated form on Windows 11 ARM, but that’s not what interests me. What I’m interested in is Djay Pro working well. The great thing I value about Djay Pro, and why it’s very difficult for me to stop using it, is its perfect beatgrid analysis with older music.
I’ll make a video to show you how well my Pioneer REV 7, Behringer UMC 404HD and Djay PRO work on Windows 11 ARM
Please share that in a separate topic so we can keep this one focused on the Windows 11 25H2 issues. Thanks @djcanitamix
Ok
So in which post can I upload the video link?
