Subject: Beatsource → Beatport Migration Broke My djay Pro Collection — 618 Tracks Unmapped/Unavailable

Hi Beatport/Beatsource Support Team,
I am writing to report a significant issue following the Beatsource to Beatport migration that has broken my djay Pro collection. I was advised by Algoriddim (djay Pro) support staff to contact you directly, as the evidence indicates the root cause is on the Beatsource/Beatport side of the migration.
Full discussion of this issue on the djay Pro Community Forum:

The Problem:
After the Beatsource to Beatport migration was completed, every track I originally added through Beatsource in my djay Pro collections became unavailable. My library still shows 3,692 songs and 235+ hours of music, but 618 songs are still mapped to Beatsource as their source and are marked as unavailable. I can see this clearly when I sort by source in the app. These tracks lost their association during the migration and were never reconnected to their Beatport equivalents.
What makes this especially frustrating:
-
Many of these 618 tracks still exist on Beatport — the music didn’t disappear. The issue is that the tracks were not properly remapped from Beatsource to Beatport during the migration, leaving them orphaned with a defunct source.
-
On top of the missing tracks, I have also lost all cue points I spent hours setting up inside djay Pro for these tracks, as the app doesn’t properly preserve them when the source becomes unavailable. That’s a significant amount of prep work lost.
-
I followed all of Beatport’s recommended migration steps — I logged out of Beatsource and logged into Beatport within djay Pro — but 618 tracks remain unmapped.
My Setup:
This is not an isolated issue:
Other users in the DJ community have reported similar problems with missing songs after the migration. Comments on YouTube videos about the Beatsource-to-Beatport transition confirm that multiple users are affected, not just me. This suggests a broader issue with how the migration handled track mapping on the Beatport/Beatsource side.
What djay Pro Support Has Confirmed:
-
Algoriddim staff (Slak_Jaw) confirmed that djay Pro’s side of the migration is designed to be automatic — it works “under the hood” and has been effective for other users who haven’t had mapping issues on the Beatport side.
-
After reviewing community reports of similar issues, Slak_Jaw stated: “this probably isn’t an issue with djay’s part of the migration process” and explicitly recommended I contact Beatport Support.
-
They confirmed they are not planning a dedicated migration tool for djay Pro users.
-
By contrast, Traktor provided its users with a dedicated Beatsource → Beatport migration tool (see here), which speaks to the fact that this migration has created real issues that require active remediation.
What I’m Requesting:
-
Investigation into why 618 tracks from my Beatsource collection were not properly migrated/mapped to Beatport, especially given that many of these tracks are available on Beatport.
-
A remapping or re-sync of my collection so that these tracks are correctly associated with their Beatport equivalents in my account.
-
Coordination with Algoriddim/djay Pro to ensure that once the tracks are properly mapped on the Beatport side, they will automatically repopulate in my djay Pro collection without requiring manual re-adding of 618+ tracks.
-
Consideration of a migration tool or process (similar to what Traktor provided) for djay Pro users affected by this issue.
Supporting Files Available:
I have a CSV export of all 618 unavailable Beatsource-mapped tracks and a video demonstrating the issue in djay Pro on my iPad, both available in a shared Google Drive folder:

I have also shared my djayMediaLibrary database file with Algoriddim engineering for troubleshooting on their end.
I would appreciate a prompt response, as this has effectively broken my DJ workflow. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Regards,
”
