When you convert your file, you loose your hot cues…
When you reintall the apps, you loose your BPM analysis and prelaoded files…
So, I tried an expensive but sure solution : BUY AN 6.0.X IPAD 2

Ive been using Djay for two months in a club with no problems. Until last week.
Last Saturday, after using the app for maybe 3 hours with no problems, it froze. By this I mean audio stopped, the interface froze - nothing moved - and I had to re-start the app to fix the problem.
This then happened a further two times during the night - 3 times in six hours - randomly.
It then happened to me again twice last night. Exactly the same scenario.
To a packed dancefloor with 300 people on it - not a lot of fun for me.
I’m running the app on a 64gb (new) Ipad using ios 6.1.
I’m running the latest version of Djay - 1.6.3.
This happens both with or without using the Vestax Spin
This doesn’t occur on ‘certain songs’ - it’s been different ones each time.
I really cant afford to use this again until this issue is fixed - which will mean me giving up on the app. A shame because I have been a fan so far and actually switched from Traktor.
Any help you could give would be great

Come on Algoriddim!!! - if this doesn’t get fixed by Friday I’m binning this app. I can’t rely on it, however powerful and simple it is.
Waste of my time and everyone else’s if fatal errors cant be fixed within a three week time-frame, rendering the thing useless- Traktor, Rekordbox and Serato errors are fixed within hours! Posts on here aren’t even getting replied to most of the time, or a proper update given. Not good enough.
Fine if you want to keep the app as a toy, but awful for anyone using it half seriously - very disappointed.
Ah well - bye - Traktor App on Ipad it is then…
Are you kidding me? Chill? Give them a break?? The bottom line is that I was using this app in a professional environment 3 nights a week. It crashed every night. More than once. Id call that error pretty fatal and a dealbreaker. If I continued to use it I simply wouldn’t get booked again - I cant afford to have 300 people wait while I restart an app 5 times a night.
If you put all your trust in the app, and then also spend substantial money on a controller, then I’m sorry, but I expect it to work, or for a problem to be fixied in days - its been nearly a MONTH!
If Warren is the only guy trying to replicate errors and push for this to be fixed, then there needs to be more money invested in support services. The app has been insanely popular so don’t tell me there is no budget. And yes, I have helped as much as I can - even sending problem music files to Warren to check.
As I said, I’d be patient if I was just messing about with it at home, or using it at the odd party. But I’m not.
I’m well aware of the Traktor App’s limitations, and wouldn’t use it if I had the choice, but I DON’T.
So it’s not a company’s responsibility to make sure their software works on the platform they choose to develop on, including updated versions? Or at least fix it promptly when they realise there are issues? It’s Apple’s fault instead is it?

Except that the Traktor app works just fine in reality, even with the same files that crash in DJay - come back when you know what you’re talking about
absolute rubbish - the same tracks work just fine. Ive used Traktor on Ipad twice a week for the last three weeks - a total of 36 hours - without one problem - using the same tracks that crash in Djay
Exactly - I’m not saying it isn’t a flaw in IOS - it probably is - but this flaw only relates to the way DJay is built -one app! Apple arent really responsible for building that Algoriddim want - it’s teh other way around surely!
The fact is other apps work fine - so find a workaround, seeing as only their app is affected.

I bought a 64gb Ipad as I needed a lot of storage space as I have a lot of music I need to dj out with - I can’t convert to AAC as I wouldnt have the space

I have had this problem and this is definitely an issue since updating to IOS 6.1 without a shadow of a doubt, I don’t know how to send an error report from my iphone5 though, how do I do this Warren? Is there an estimated length of time on how long it will take for this issue to be resolved?
I have the problem of error 12178, how can I fix it i have installed the latest version 6.1 of ios , all songs purchased on beatport mp3 to itunnes the bureau and the application are locked, please let me know how I can fix it from Valdepeñas city real cp 13300
