Controllers used: numark idj pro, reloop beatpad 1 and 2. Ive updated all firmware.
Works better with the new nuark idj pro. Might crash once a night
Ive been havig this problom for over a year and have brought a new ipad thinking that was the problem bit unfortunately im still grtting thensame issues of the app crashing 3-5 times in a 5 hours set. Last few months have been the worst ive ever had.
I thought it might be the controllers im using but again ive used it without and still crashing.
Now ive got a friend who also djs same venue with an older ipad but has never has any problems. This leads me to think it must be a setting on my ipad that is given me this problem.
Not had much help from puttikg in a ticket. Was asked to film it happening but its not possible as i dont knkw when its going to happen.
Ive seen on here about keepping the match box closed soni tried doing that, put it into classic mode thinkng it might be that
If i play a continuous mix i have no peoblems. Loading songs, mixing and it will crash.
Anyone come across this or have any solutions. Over 10 yeaes of using the app and never been this bad last few years for me.

Hi. Thanks for this information. Just been through it all and all the suggestions are already been done. Didn’t need to change anything. I use WiFi as sometime get requests I don’t have on my ipad. Only use ipad for work and that’s it. No other apps are on it. Currently only using 49.67gb out of 256gb so lots of space.
You’re welcome @Lewispt. I can’t think of anything else to suggest at the moment. If you are able to capture and share a video that would be very helpful. Also, I’ll reach out to our official support team and see if they are able to pull any additional info from your crash reports. In the meantime, we are in the final beta test stages for djay 5.2.4 which we expect to release publicly soon. Hopefully, it will address the issue you’ve been experiencing. Thanks!
