DDJ-FLX10 Compatibility

In my opinion, this is the best controller ever. Unfortunately, DJ Pro AI doesn’t support the FLX10’s jog wheel displays. But everything else does a great job.

Get u one u will never change🤣

Jogwhells displays aren’t a problem for me, I’m also from Mixon 4 I think is only a little plus. I’m interested to know that the stability is the same of Mixon 8 Pro and that the mixer effects work good, now I always place an RMX1000 for bypassing the bad effects of Djay Pro :joy:

Hi there, do you have fully mixer capability with beat and colour effects and can you map pads how you want??

Hi, yes, u have the whole functionalety for the Beat Effects and Colour FX Effects. And yes u can map the pad effects how u like it but only with the effects in djay pro ai. I don’t know if this is possible to Upload other Effects.
Maybe you can ask Slak_Jaw

You cannot upload other FX to djay. Only the built-in djay FX.

Thanks for info. Looks like it’s a decent integration apart from screen support.

For me the best DJ Software ever.

It is. I have Rev 5 and it’s just an amazing integration. Looking at other gear though :sunglasses::sunglasses: Performer looks hot as well.

Any update on when the FLX10 will have full compatibility with djay Pro? Kind of weird thats it’s been years and I still cant use hardward FX.

Full compatibility would be really nice … just thought about it when in Automix mode the FLX10 jog wheel screensaver appeared …

So are you saying the jog screens work now? Mine Jog Screens on my Mac Prio and I-Pad still show no audio driver.

No this is just the Pioneer screen saver as I wrote … turns up during djay pro Automix mode

There is a vote topic for this, but people doesnt use it… You guys should vote for this, to get better chanses to have full support for jogscreens to work

Did you go to suggestions and vote allready for the support?

You can’t use hardware effects at all? Even in external mode?

really? would be great!

How’s Everything else? Stems integration, beat and colour effects? Re mapping capabilities?

In my opinion, Stems are working very well with the FLX10 and can be easily controlled via hardware buttons. Regarding the sound color effect, I have no comparison but unfortunately they are not midi-mappable so you have to use the effects assigned by PioneerDJ unless you manually select different ones in the software.

Besides the jog wheel screen, the one thing I miss the most is the lack of integration for navigating the GUI panels: Pressing the mode buttons on the controller (HOT CUE, PAD FX, BEAT JUMP, SAMPLER) does not automatically open the corresponding panel in the software. Instead you have to manually search and touch on your iPhone/iPad device to access the right section of the software.

Personally, for me this is cumbersome, interrupting the workflow and, as a result, annoying though I like the app a lot.

I don’t understand why it is to be such a big deal to implement that and/or make it midi-mappable. Or is it a DjayPro software design principle (as all the other apps that I know have this very basic feature)?

@Slak_Jaw, maybe you can comment on that?
