Thanks for this. From what your saying you need to have in external mode to be able to access the pioneer effects. I know what you mean about the gui not corresponding to the hardware. It’s annoying but I’ve not really known anything different. I’m hoping they get the screens sorted then I will probably pick up a flx 10. I’ve been looking at other hardware as getting gear envy but so far nothing is really tearing me away from my rev5.
@turbopussy there is already a feature request open for this: New MIDI Controls for toggling sampler/looper and FX, loops, cues etc I agree with you, it is sorely missing.
Hi @turbopussy, the dev team has been working on this, but unfortunately ran into several edge cases with different controllers that resulted in buggy behaviour.
Thanks for the update @Slak_Jaw Fingers crossed there will be a solution
You’re welcome @turbopussy

I wanted to tag a bunch of people who voted for the jogwheel screen compatibility and might not know about this vote, but the platform only allows the tagging of 10 users at a time…
I tagged 10, but would need others to tag others to help spread the word…
Would you guys like to help start a chain where you drop a reply with the link to
and tag the next 10 people from the list and ask them to do the same?
You have to add an @ sign to the front of the 10 you copy. and remove them to prevent overlap

Still no midi mapping for color FX and such…
Stuck on Vers 5.17, that’s really too bad
I did do a search, but couldn’t find anything. Sorry if this has been us before my FLX 10 has just arrived and I’m using it with my iPad Pro. Firstly it’s such a shame. The iPad cannot be powered directly from the control controller, but there you go. Secondly if I do a back spin on the jog wheels, the track moves a certain point but then stops while the jog wheel is still spinning. Is this just behave that I have to put up to or can I change the setting for it to work better?
Hi @Nubium,
- I’m surprised that the FLX10 does not charge your iPad when connected directly via USB-C. Have you tried a different cable?
- Yes, this is expected behavior with the jogwheel backspin.
OK, and what about a problem where when I put on the echo effect the music stops playing for a second until the echo kicks in?
Is this something you’ve reported in another topic? If so, please comment there. If not, please create a new topic for this and share more detail about his issue. Thanks!
So you’re saying that the controller should charge my iPad Pro 13 inch?
I have not reported it no
I said I’m surprised that it does not. I do not have a FLX10 to check for myself. Given that it uses USB-C I would suspect that it can provide power delivery. Perhaps not. That’s why I suggested you try a different cable. A good place to start would be with the original cable that came with your iPad. However, given that it appears they did not design this hardware with iOS in mind, it’s possible that it does not support charging of a connected device.
Please create a new topic for this and supply all the details requested in the topic template. Thanks!
I think my iPad may suck too much power to get the needed power from a controller
Just for info I have Rev 5 which is usb c and unit doesn’t directly charge iPad either. I use a powered hub with pass through.
No, the FLX10 is not charging the iPad. An adapter split cable is required (usb-c to usb-c headphone and usb-c charging) bought mine at amazon
the DDj Flx4 is charging my ipad air without need for an extra power supply
Thanks for sharing and confirming @turbopussy
