Djay Pro crashes randomly after I choose “default” for crossfader setting.

  • Device model (e.g. iPad Pro
    )
    :
  • Version of operating system (e.g. iPadOS 16.7):
  • Version of djay (e.g 5.2.8):
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro):

Summary of the issue:

Djay Pro crashes randomly after I choose “default” for crossfader setting.

How to reproduce the issue:
SELECT - “Settings”
SELECT - “Sound”
SELECT - “Crossfader curve” (Which will be defaulted to “Dipped” every time device (iPad or iPhone) is connected to the Reloop Mixon 8 Pro
SELECT - “Default” - (you would think it would default to “Default”, but unfortunately it doesn’t.)

After you’ve changed the Crossfader curve setting to “Default”, it’s only a matter of time before a high-pitched beep sound comes from the app and crashes DJ pro.

Sometimes it will happen right away sometimes it’ll happen 10 or 20 minutes later.

Extremely frustrating, As I tend to djay with the default setting on the Crossfader.
It’s worth mentioningI never had this problem with the Mixon 4.

Thank you for your time and attention

I had a simmilar issue with the crossfaders of my DDJ-SX2,

thanks to “Slak_Jaw” the fix was make sure your toggle switches at the bottom of your channel faders was set to either A or B and not “Thru” make sure you do this to all the faders, toggle the switches to either A or B,

Once I did this, I never got that popup and DJay never crashed,

Here is my original post, DDJ-SX2 (Crossfader assignment changed) issue

Thanks to the Man Slak_Jaw

I hope this will help with your issue:)
