Djay2, ios7, iDJPro - Split Feed to House Audio - Random!!

Ok warren, I understand it’s not your job to monitor this forum but we are left thinking it can’t be fixed and are wondering if we should move on to different equipment.

Ron, are you still having continued success with the ipad air? Was considering buying one soon but wanted to hear if you still have had no issues. Otherwise I would just buy another 2 as a backup

I’ve read good things about the beat pad, digitaldjtips gave it a good review. I think the idj pro is the only controller that has this issue. I may get one as a backup controller. I admit, I do like how the ipad sits in the center of the controller though on the idj pro, no other controller has that.

Vestex controllers are too small in my opinion, same with pioneer weego.

I will say again tho, running in mono setup with right xlr has been good to me. When glitch occurs, no interruption through mains but your headphone channels reverse which can be counteracted using the volume and cue knobs for the headphones.

I plan on getting an ipad air in the near future, sound like some users have had success. Once i do, I will be sure to let everyone know.

I am shocked its taking this long…

Ron, I am guessing you have had continued success with the ipad air?

Thanks for posting Brent, very interesting… Same issue with the cue coming through the main speakers? There is def something wrong with numark firmware vs ipad2 and ipad3. Tough to say at this point how much djay is to blame as it seems users have had this problem with other apps.

Still though, why is Ipad air ok? Something with the processor? What the hell…

Music to my ears, thanks warren!

I think you are talking about the idj flex. I checked it out on YouTube a while back. It’s much smaller, looks closer to the vestex or weego in size. Designed to work with ipad, laptop, or pc. Not sure about it honestly.

I feel they will make another idj pro as the first one sold quite
a a few units and got several awards from what I saw. Seems like you can get a new one for about 250 all over the place now so I am def going to buy a backup soon. Especially now that the bug is fixed.

I have a 60th birthday party to do next weekend so I will report back, I am feeling pretty good about it so we will see!

I’ll let you know, I did a high school reunion for a class of 1973 back in November, it was fun, lots of 60s and 70s music but surprisingly they wanted a lot of current stuff too.

Hi Brent, this thread is mainly for issues with the idj pro and djay. I can’t personally say too much to help as I have an ipad 2 and use idj pro, but I would say your adapter is faulty. I’ve heard that the lightning connection is very fragile and gets worn out easily.

I would contact numark directly but I’m sure they will tell you that the controller was never tested nor was it designed to work with the adapter. Best of luck, sorry I couldn’t help more!

This shift already happened to me in the middle of a gig :frowning:
There’s some way to correct the problem without a system reset?
Do someone knows why happen?

I had problems in most all last gigs, and this problem with sound it’s very bad!
This seems like some data transfer problem, last time I’ve tried not to put my phone near the iDJ Pro, it’s possible just a coincidence, but I don’t have the same problem!

Good news

Already testing
Thanks!!!

You have in Definitions an option to change that

The time has come to take this problem to the next level, by this I mean Watchdog on the BBC. Sellinng a product that is not fit for purpose then not resolving the problem is what they try and rectify. I will look into this. In the meantime everyone should post on IDJPRO & NUMARKS Facebook pages so the world can see what’s going on.

Hi Mike thanks for the support, this needs sorting and the more it’s highlighted the quicker this will happen.
