Why are Numark being let off the hook here! The idjpro was built to house an iPad and use the Djay software and as such is useless if this app does not work. So Numark should be the ones chasing Algoriddim to get this fixed because no one will buy the controller if it doesn’t have a fully working app. Come on Numark get this sorted. This is getting frustrating.
Warren It’s been two weeks since you posted! Have you any info/update for us. I have a party to do on Friday and I’m dreading it.

We want you to be assured that this issue is on our highest priority.
As the iDJ Pro is the only controller exhibiting this issue when used with djay, Numark is also aware of it and we are working closely together on getting this issue fixed as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, please download the latest update (v 2.2.1) and use the library in full-screen mode. Our tests show that using full-screen library dramatically reduces the risk of encountering this problem.

Jerod, I agree 100% with all your comments especially about Numark giving up on the Idjpro. We should now have an option of getting a refund from Numark for a product not fit for purpose. Algoriddim are not doing enough to sort this problem and are letting there customers down.
I was working this weekend and again at that crucial moment when you announce a special request press the play button and "NOTHING ", no sound and you have to reset and go to back, very embarrassing.
This product is not fit for purpose and a refund should be offered.
It is unbelievable that these two companies cannot sort out this issue, If the ipad air works ok with idjpro surely the techies can sort out the problem.
Ja’Maul, these are big companies and have the resources to develop hardware and software that we pay good money for, they should at least have the decency to keep us up to date with how they are progressing with a fix for this problem.
I predict that the idjpro will be discontinued and a new product will be released for the ipad 4 & ipad air" and we will be left with a useless product with no further support.
Len, totally agree with you, and Glenn this is not a cheap product at £349 + £15 for software.

Warren when will we see an update to sort out the problems with iDjpro? This as gone on to long and we need some answers and a resolution to this.

I was talking to a Numark rep on Wednesday and believe it or not he said he didn’t know of the issue with iDjpro and ipad and Djay2… Anyway he told me a new idjpro was in the pipeline with a new ipad air connector and he Also said they where going down the path of Bluetooth controllers so they will work with any platform. He did show me a controller with Bluetooth, but I didn’t get the model number. Still shocked that a Numark rep didn’t know anything about the issues though.
I have had the same problem using djay 1 and 2. On ios6 and ios7. Ipad 2 and 3
I use ipad 3. Djay 2.1. I just updated to 2.1.2. iOS 7. I have a weekly gig and the problem happens once a night. When it happens the cross fader and volume controls do not do any thing. I appreciate that you are looking into this. I have experienced the same problem with djay 1 iOS6 but not as often.
I think it has something to do with the settings. I forget what exactly though
Hi sorry to be a downer but I have tried the same thing before and have still had the problem. I did play a 5 hour set on Friday 10/11 and I did not have the problem. Maybe I just got lucky. I had experienced the problem my last 3 sets before Friday. I wonder if the last update fixed the issue or again maybe I just got lucky
I played a 5 hour set on Friday with no problem. I played another 5 hour set on Sunday and unfortunately experienced the problem 3 times. I use IPad 3 with iOS 7. I have the most up to date djay app 2.1.2. I hope this issue can be resolved soon. My audience is always impressed with the djay idj pro set up. They become less than impressed when the sound splits and I have to restart the djay app and idj pro. Is there any word on a fix for this problem?
Hi thanks for working on this issue. During my set last night I experienced the problem again. I was using the full screen library mode. IPad 3 ios 7 (latest update) Djay 2 (latest update). Since the problem occurred at the end of my set I decided to roll with it rather than shutting down and restarting. For whatever reason the problem resolved itself after just a few minutes. Maybe that will help with diagnosis? Thanks for reading
