UPDATE
well guess what, it glitched while only using one xlr in the right output. The good news, all of the audio behaved normally meaning the mains were fine using the crossfader, the cue stayed in my headphones, all speakers had audio coming out like they should.
The bad news, for some reason the audio was a little lower and had a fair amount of static, especially on bass hits.
Now, i know it was the same glitch because when i put it back over to the left side, the channels were mixed up.
So what i did find this time around is that if i hit the home button, then open djay 1, then double tap home button and go back to djay2, the problem is cleared. This is far faster than switching hardware audio off and on in settings or killing power to idj pro and turning back on.
More bad, upon switching back to djay2, although the turntable view was correct, the menus were sideways. Song menu, settings menu, even the clock and the battery indicator at the very top was turned in landscape mode and there was nothing i could do to get it back to normal, so guess what, i had to kill the power and turn it back on with the switch on the idj pro.
The good about just turning the mixer on and off is that as long as djay2 stays open, it will pick up where you left off, even if the track is still playing.
Only thing i will say is that i did not turn wifi off this time as i forgot. Previous 3 sessions, wifi off, no glitch.
So again, using my paricular mono setup does not prevent the glitch, however the results are a little more subtle. I think people understand a bit of static over your cue coming through the main. Also, switching to djay1 and back to 2 is the quickest way to solve the problem, but beware the menu problem and know eventually you will have to reset to get back to normal. And finally, turn off wifi, bluetooth, and anything else that is not necessary to have open or running.
