News flash, multiple people are having issues with DJAY1 AND DJAY2. I had first experienced the issue with DJay 1myself and upgraded to DJay2 when it was available and the problem has only worsened. I could care less who’s problem it is, Numark or Algoriddim or Bob the engineer down the road, but it’s a a problem and needs to be addressed. Unless you work for Numark or were the chief engineer and designer of the device, you have no clue what or where the problem lies. Bottom line, Numark needs and Algoriddim need to take the time to troubleshoot this issue. It’s gone on way too long just by reading the history on this thread and no one seems to have a clue what to do moving forward. Also, a big thanks to the Numark support team for an estimated 30-40min wait time on hold calling for support, then only to be dumped into a general voicemail box. Nice work.
Using iPad3 as I do, with IOS 7, it always happens to me when I am looking through the library to select a song. Just as I am about to select it, boom the volume drops and I am screwed.
LETS GO ALGORIDDIM! ITS BEEN A MONTH NOW AND STILL NO FIX??? This issue is starting to make its way to a number of other audio/DJ forums and iDJPro is on its way out the door if you all don’t find a fix and find it QUICK. You have left a large group of consumers with brand new product, sitting in the box that cannot be used. The fact that no one has come up with a solution is poor customer service at its worst. Get your act together, we have waited long enough.
I agree 100% with Ronnie. I have contacted the BBB and filed a claim with both companies. I urge everyone to fill both Facebook pages with nothing but negative feedback about how this has been handled so other possible consumers can decide to purchase another brand of product. In over 20 years of retail sales management, I have never seen such a poor handling of such a major product issue.

WHY do you all continue to write these lengthy posts trying to blame Numark or not, or Algoriddim or not, or point a finger here or there? IT DOES NOT MATTER. Would you buy a new car and come home to find out that it wont shift into reverse and then start thinking “hmm, I wonder if its a problem with the transmission or an electrical problem, or maybe a problem with the driveshaft???” IT DOES NOT MATTER. We bought into this technology because of the integration that we ASSSUMED worked correctly. I could care less WHO is at fault here because it DOES NOT FIX MY PRODUCT. Its not my responsibility to figure these issues out, nor should it be. So stop pointing fingers, stop blaming IOS or DJ or Algoriddim or Obama or whoever you think is at fault and MAKE IT RIGHT. I cant believe this has gone on this long.
Warren, I would be looking elsewhere for employment if this is the kind of company that signs your paycheck every week. I would be embarrassed.
MORE problems. I had a gig last night and 1 hr into the night, our favorite problem occurred and despite the suggestions of switching repeatedly from mono to stereo, that did nothing to resolve the issue. So I shut it down and just decided to use the iPad alone with DJay app and forget about the IDJPRO. Well guess what, SAME problem continued. Not even using the IDJPRO I couldn’t cue anything properly without the mix and cue both coming out the main mix.
Also, to add insult to injury, where the AC power plugs into the IDJPRO, the plug is now loose and switches on and off on its own.
I have had it with this product and company and am giving up and returning the unit. After only 2 months of ownership and 15 years of live entertainment, I can honestly say this is the worst piece of equipment I have ever owned and the customer service is the poorest of poor. Warren, you and your company has let us down in a major way.
Brandon, I was indeed using the split cable from Griffin and still no luck. This has turned into a bad dream.
Any idea how or if I can revert back to the original DJay app? I downloaded DJay2 which is a nightmare so how the heck do I get back to original DJay? I don’t see it in the APP store.
Has anyone tried using just the right XLR as an output and seeing if the problem still occurs? I use the RCAs and still run into the problem but have never used the XLRs as outputs. Can someone give this a try and let us know???
3 months in and still no fix from Numark or Algoriddim. Why aren’t you all blowing up the Algoriddim phone lines, Facebook page, etc with posts and complaints of this? Have you all simply given up and accepted that your money and craft has been wasted on this product/products? I have roughly 30 gigs lined up in 2014 and I couldn’t be more disappointed with this product or the customer service that has accompanied it.
Warren, where is the FIX? You have figured that the channels are shifting, so correct it and release an update so we can put this issue to rest. What’s the holdup???
Well said Mike. I have never in my 20+ years of sales and service seen a matter handled in such a poor fashion. I called Numark as I am now having additional issues with iDJPRO console (mic input won’t work, nor will AUX) and asked for a new unit to which I was informed “we dont have any of those in stock so we can send you a refurbished unit or try and repair yours.” Great resolutions! I will be getting a refurb and selling that thing as fast as I can to be done with this piece of garbage console and interface.
I am very disappointed that more of those following this thread have not taken the time to post on Algoriddim and Numark’s Facebook pages how inept and dissatisfied you all are with the customer service you have experienced in handling this issue. You are doing nothing to help us or other future consumers by sitting and letting the issue pass by.
My brother in law is a top level buyer for Best Buy and I have informed him of what my experience has been with Numark and he was shocked at the customer support. Needless to say, this is going to be escalated to other electronic buyers in their company (possibly even other electronics companies) and I hope to see their entire Numark product line phased out from Best Buy, Inc. I have filed 2 cases now against Numark through the BBB as well which never gets you far but at least goes on record to negatively impact their score. 4 months now and not even a hint at a fix in sight? What a joke and we arse left with one guy “Warren” giving us the same canned BS from October. I would be embarrassed to have Numark signing my paychecks.
I would also like to point out that several other posters and I have had a pre -cue issue, with the channel not outputting any sound when we pre cue. I don’t know if this problem is related to this thread’s exactly, but I feel it is more active here and needs to be addressed.

Loss of left hand side output.
Hi, I’ve noticed that on occasion, usually about 50 minutes into an hour long mix that I lose the output to the left speaker. This has happened on both aux out and last night on balanced out…
It has happened after loading up songs and just during playback so I am unable to narrow it down.
Once the problem was rectified by loading a song, and most of the other times I’ve had to unplug the ipad3 from idj pro and plug it back in again.
I could be wrong, but I think it has started since ios7.

I can say the same… Up to last week i didn’t update my Ipad2…
I was using the IOS6 with djay2… and it was ALWAYS running perfectly, i can say there was just a little delay when making a manual loop… but using autoloop mode was precise and perfect.
But, last Yesterday i update only the djay2 (not IOS7)… and problems come…
playing a song… open the load window to select a song for the other deck, and during the listening of the song in the loading window, after the 2nd or 3rd song the app crash… music stop… no answer form any button…
i tryied once again… same story
same story after the 3 attempt, ok… i decide to upgrade to IOS7…
with this upgrade the problem of crash was solved but… when i turn on the app… the software don’t see the Idjpro controller… i have to mess with the setting, deselecting “hardware” than reselecting again… deselect… reselect… and after 3 times it work. but has to be solved…
But, Yesterday during a club party, i was playing my song… pressing load button to select an other one… and then listening it on my headphone in the loading window… so… why i hear only on my right ear!!! try to move the connector…the otehr Dj come to me "ehy guys!! what’s wrong?! you are going ut with the cueing!!!
I had to use the cdj’s of a friend to have the opportunity of turn off the ipad and restart again the software…
it’s very very very annoing…
What hell is going on with this app is driving me **^&^%$4 crazy i had to cancel some gigs cuz is doing this splitting thing that you can even dj properly one speaker works then the other is out or both are working but different audio is coming out this really $^&&^(^($#b cuz I’m can get no money cuz I’m going to embarrass myself especially if i just started doing this djing serious

I am experiencing issues with the cue output not auto-toggling with the fader. It worked fine at first, then after a few sessions it started to glitch out. During my
Last session it made the problem permanent. I’ve re-booted it multiple times to no avail. (I have all current updates at the moment)
Do not use slider leave in the middle and use the rotary dials like a Bozak mixer until this is fixed. Bozak was my best mixer year 1978
It just doesn’t happen with iOS 7!!! I run iOS 6 and have the same cueing issues??? Often and random…Anyone care to explain!?
