I’ve been searching the forum and I see this has been requested for years, but I can’t find any confirmation that it has been implemented… Is it really impossible to add an editable column in the track attributes? A column where we can write our own notes about the song, which would be extremely useful for organizing sets before performing?
I believe this is a basic feature, and it doesn’t seem too complicated to implement. Other DJ software, even the most basic ones, already have it.
Or have I missed something, and this feature actually exists, but I just can’t find how to enable it?

Hi @Santi_Gil, the Comment column option is available for local music in the My Collection, iTunes Library and My Files sources. It is not available within the streaming service sources. However, it is currently not possible to edit this meta data from within djay. You need to do this outside of djay. I will pass this onto the dev team for consideration in the meantime. I hope that helps!
Ok, I understand… Anyway, it would be very useful if this could be done with songs from streaming services and directly from Djay Pro, just like it happens with other DJ software.
Thanks for your answer.
You’re welcome @Santi_Gil. Thanks for the additional feedback.

Hi again @Santi_Gil, can you please capture a short video showing how you can edit the Comments for streaming songs on other DJ software? I’d like to share this with the dev team. Please upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!
Of course, these are 2 examples with Serato and Djuced.
In Djuced:
In Serato:

Perfect! Thanks for sharing @Santi_Gil

It would be great to have an update about this…
I see there are other threads with a lot of votes on this… Okay, I’ll follow those threads, but please note that this is an old suggestion with high demand.
Edit Track Metadata! - Suggestions - Algoriddim Community Forums
Hi @Santi_Gil, thanks for checking in. We don’t have any updates to share, but our team is looking into this. Regarding the other thread, that one is specifically for macOS and this one is for Windows.
You’ve already implemented much more complex things… I’m sure you could get this done in a couple of hours
!
For both iOS and Windows!
Another good solution would be the ability to save our playlists (one feature doesn’t exclude the other… both would be great to have).
If we could save our playlists, Djay Pro could offer a space where users can share them (or even sell them).
I’m sure we would make great use of this feature to discover new songs, mashups, and creative ways of DJing.
Hi @Santi_Gil, if you create your playlist within the My Collection source of djay, we already have an option to Export as CSV File…
I don’t understand why it’s possible on macOS but not on Windows
Hi @djcanitamix, welcome to the Community! Please use search before creating new topics. I have merged your new topic with this existing one. You can vote above to show your support for adding this feature to djay. Thanks!
It looks many features are missing in Windows!
Please note that while we’re aiming for future parity, the djay apps on different platforms (macOS, iOS, Windows, Android, Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro) are developed individually and therefore offer different features. We appreciate your feedback.
The majority is missing.
I don’t understand Algoriddim’s philosophy.
In my experience, this is the first time I’ve encountered a program where the same thing isn’t available on all platforms.
And the justification that they’re developed by different people isn’t valid for me.
Programs are like a franchise; what you find on one site you should find on the other, even if they’re developed by different people.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but is there another DJ software provider that is actively developing on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, HorizonOS and VisionOS?
My approach has nothing to do with what you propose to me. That would be another topic to discuss. I will only say an example, you know how uncomfortable it is to have to leave the Djay Pro, to be able to edit the metadata of a song ?
