‘For now, the HID integration is available only for macOS and Windows, as tablets and smartphones do not support the HID protocol. We’re currently working with djay to make it possible in the future (using midi protocol)!’
Too bad it’s not for iOS, as that’s the platform I am using, but good they acknowledge this and say they are working on it!
I noticed Phase showed up in DJAY on iOS as a midi device, but I couldn’t find a way to configure it. Does anyone know more about this?
I use a powered usb-c hub, which powers my soundcard and connect to my iPad. I found out before that it had enough power to also power the phase box, so this is why DJAY can find it in the first place, but can’t seem to figure out where to go next.
@Slak_Jaw I know HID mode is not supported in iOS yet. I’m using Phase in the ‘classic’ way with timecode, which works fine in general.
In an earlier statement from Phase mentioned they were working on a MIDI based solution.

When I connected my iPad i noticed Phase showing up as a midi device, so I was wondering/speculating if we were there yet.
