How to Export Keys determined by djay Pro AI?

Hi!
I’m willing to do another comparison like I did in 2020 regarding Key detection here:

But…
Last time I had to use OCR in order to fetch the Keys determined by djay Pro.
How do I export them in a reasonable way?

I’ve tried to open the MediaLibrary.db but no such luck finding the keys.
Do you guys have such overview like this: Engine Library Format · mixxxdj/mixxx Wiki · GitHub ?

Thanks!

Hi @bascurtiz,

Welcome to the Algoriddim Community and thanks for posting your question.

At the moment, there isn’t any way to export the key information from djay Pro AI as you’ve described here. Sorry about that. I will put in an internal request for such a feature as I can see how this would be useful information to get more easily. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Just let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi @bascurtiz, I wanted to let you know that we added the possibility to export playlists as CSV files in the latest djay Pro AI v4.0.9 update, and the exported CSV file also now contains BPM and key info analyzed by djay.

I think this should allow you to get our analyzed keys with these steps:

  1. Create playlist in djay’s “My Collection” source in the media library
  2. Add your tracks to playlist (e.g. by dragging them in from the Finder)
  3. Click the playlist header (“X Songs”) and select “Analyze Songs”
  4. Click the playlist header and select “Export as CSV File…”

Alternatively you can also just use a playlist from the Music app or use the “My Files” source to directly link a folder containing your tracks (this also works in the free version).

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this.
